IWI US is now selling a state compliant version of the TAVOR in Massachusetts, Maryland and New Jersey. Â The new guns have an 18″ barrel, permanent 2″ muzzle break, an OAL of 30″ and a 10-round magazine. Â It has a full length Picatinny rail for adding optics and spring-loaded back up sights. Â The front sight has a tritium insert for low light use.
The TAVOR SAR RS (model # TSB18RS) is chambered in 5.56 NATO and carries an MSRP of $2,049.
New bolt action rifles from MasterPiece Arms are now available. Â The guns can be had in a variety of 6mm and 6.5mm chamberings including, but not limited to:
- 6mm Lapua
- 6mm XC
- 6mm Creedmore
- .243 Win
- 6.5×47 Lapua
- 6.5mm Creedmore
- .260 Rem
The guns use the MPA 6061 aluminum chassis, a Stiller’s Precision TAC Series action, Timney 510 triggers, Â and have hand-lapped barrels. Â Barrels are pull-button rifled and made from 416RQ stainless steel.
What is billed as the first commercially-viable shotgun suppressor is now available from SilencerCo. Â The Salvo 12 appears to be modular in nature, as shooters can add or remove lengths to alter the amount of sound attenuation and weight desired. Â Lengths of 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ are available. Â It ships as a 12″ suppressor and can be reduced by the shooter.
The full 12″ configuration weighs in at 32 ounces and reduces noise at the muzzle to 137.9 dB. Â A 6″ configuration weighs 18.5 oz and reduces muzzle noise to 149.2 dB.
