Honor Defense is set to unveil a new handgun at the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) Expo next month. Called the Honor Guard, these 9mm pistols are designed for concealed carry and self-defense purposes.
Although the company has not released much information on the new pistols, here is what we know…
The Honor Guard pistol is a striker-fired handgun with a polymer frame. The rear of the grip will have adjustable back straps to allow the shooter to best fit the gun to his or her hand. The surface of the frame is aggressively textured to help provide the shooter with a good grip.
According to Honor Defense, the trigger will have a wide face. The trigger pull weight is set at 7 pounds, and it is designed to be smooth with a clean break. Reset is said to be short for rapid follow up shots.
Both the magazine release button and the slide stop are ambidextrous. This should allow left-handed shooters the flexibility to run the gun how they wish.
Honor Guard pistols are rated for +P ammunition. The company will offer both flush-fitting and extended magazines to meet your specific needs.
Honor Defense manufactures these guns in the USA with USA sourced materials and parts. The company is based in Gainesville, GA – just northeast of Atlanta.

What’s up with the top pistol? Does the frame have a crennellated standoff as either a weight compensator or a window breaker/CQB impact device? Interesting.
I’m not certain, but I think they might have an interchangeable gun system so that longer barrels/slides can be matched with different frames. I hope to see one of these next month at NASGW, and I will get more information then.
The extended part of the frame is to keep the barrel or slide from being pushed back and out of battery in a scuffle or if the muzzle came in contact with the bad guy.
I figured the odd extended frame was either a light a laser or a combination of the two. very interesting.
Yeah the extended part of the frame is a “standoff” device to keep the barrel or slide from being pushed back and out of battery in a scuffle or if the muzzle came in contact with the bad guy.

Best of luck to them in a very crowded 9mm maket..
Where can I purchase these in Gwinnett County or Hall County GA I found one at Trigger Time in Braselton but they want $459. Was hoping to find more for a smaller pricetag.
It looks like a good pistol for EDC/CCW. What is the MSRP and when is the gun going to the market, I mean dealers.
It is already shipping. Your local dealer should be able to order it for you. Alternatively, you can check with GunBroker.com and the like.
