Another AcquisitionÂ
Bullet and ammunition manufacturer Nosler finalized a deal to purchase Silver State Armory (SSA). Â SSA makes high quality ammunition for hunting, law enforcement and the military. Â I met the guys from SSA several years ago at the SHOT Show, and was impressed by the staff and their products. Â Nosler is known for high quality, so hopefully this will be a good deal for not just Nosler and SSA, but for consumers also.
New Kahr Lasers
LaserMax is now making the CenterFire laser aiming device for many of the 9mm and .40 S&W Kahr pistols. Â The CenterFire units are specially designed to look like integrated parts of the guns, and not just bolt on products. Â These will hit the market in July for $129.
Gunsmithing DVD for Bulldog
The American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI) is now selling an Armorer’s Course DVD for the Charter Arms Bulldog revolvers. Â AGI puts together some great video courses that will show you everything you know to perform regular maintenance and upgrades to your firearms. Â I own a few of them and recommend them. Â This Charter Arms video should be another good one.
Goodbye to the SLR-106
