In an effort to assist shooters with limited upper body strength and/or poor technique, Taurus now offers “wings” on the original TCP pistol. The TCP with Wings as it is being called is an intriguing idea, but one that may be flawed in its current form.
I had a chance to handle one on the SHOT Show floor, and I spoke with a company rep. Here is what I learned…
At the SHOT Show, Mossberg announced a new line of left-handed shotguns called the L Series. These shotguns replicate many of the standard (right-handed) 500 and 590 series shotguns in the Mossberg catalog in both 12 and 20 gauge.

Armscor gave the media a sneak peek at the new 22 TCM 9R: a conversion kit for the Glock 17/22 pistols. The new kit converts the pistols to fire the .22 TCM 9R cartridge.
The kits are still under development, but are far enough along for Armscor to allow writers to shoot a Glock equipped with one. [Ed. note: The kits have been released and appear to be running very reliably in Glock-pattern pistols. Scroll down for the updated information.]
