Springfield Armory XDS Recall

Springfield XDS 9mm review

Springfield Armory issued a recall on XDS 9mm and XDS .45 ACP pistols.  The recall was issued due to a problem that:

…under exceptionally rare circumstances, some 3.3 XD-Sâ„¢ 9mm and .45ACP caliber pistols could experience an unintended discharge during the loading process when the slide is released, or could experience a double-fire when the trigger is pulled once.

Springfield Armory stressed no one has been injured by this problem and that the recall was voluntarily initiated by the company.

AR-15 Double Trigger

double trigger

Looking to spend a lot of money on an AR-15 trigger that will let you spend a lot of money on ammunition?  Check out the D-TR double trigger from Elftman Tactical.

The D-TR is a drop-in trigger system for the AR-15 platform that introduces a second trigger guard with a double-hump, really long trigger that can be pressed from both the standard trigger position and the newly added position.  This essentially lets a shooter slap the triggers in a one-two motion with the pointer and index fingers to throw a lot of rounds downrange in a manner consistent with paintball players.

LaserMax Green Guide Rod Laser for Glock

LaserMax officially introduced the green guide rod laser for Glock pistols on Friday. The new guide rods uses a green laser for aiming instead of the traditional red laser the company used in the past. LaserMax hinted to this announcement recently on the company’s website.

LaserMax Guide Rod Glock Green Laser

The new lasers are completely contained in a replacement guide rod assembly. There are no external accessories attached to the gun. The obvious benefit is that a Glock can be outfitted with one of these LaserMax devices and still fit in normal holsters.
